    Trailer coupler height

I will be picking up a Z21 next week and was wondering if anyone had the approximate height from ground to the bottom of the trailer coupler at level? The trailer has 18" tires if that makes a difference.

High! I can get you a measurement tomorrow but I have a 2500HD with a 2.5" lift and used to need a 6" drop with my Triton. With my '17 z21 I need a 3" drop with factory wheels on the trailer

Thanks, used a 2" rise on my Explorer and Procraft with 14" tires, now have an Expedition with the 18" tires coming, maybe the 2" lift will be enough with the higher tow vehicle.

Most trailers have a recommended height of 18"-20" from the top of the ball to the ground. The recommendation is pretty much standard for all brands of trailers. Some trailers actually have a sticker on the tongue of the trailer that gives recommended trailer tongue height.

If you can get me a height from ground to top of ball with no load that would be a great start.
