I havent been able to use Google Earth since the wife loaded Windows 10 ,,
If you save waypoints in the Navionics app ($10 one) make sure ALL of your settings are right, ALL of the time. I updated my maps, of which I'd done before with no problems, lost all waypoints. Contacted Navionics, to no avail.
I've never typed in coordinate s, might have to research that one.

Yes, just tried it, never did before.
No Guy's what I'm talking about on the Navionics boating mobile app is, are you able to view your lake looking for points, humps etc on your phone and get these coordinates for some places to fish? Then put those coordinates into your graph and then fish them when you get to the lake? Thoughts.

Something like this? I don't have a GPS capable graph, can't help you their.
Hi Skunked,
Yes I believe your screen shots are what I'm asking for. Now are those of the Navionics boating mobile app? It looks like they use Bing maps? Now I wonder if you can put those in your graph and use them on the lake? You stated you don't have a GPS capable graph! Anyone else know? Thank you!

Yes, it's the navionics mobile app on my phone.
This might be what I think I need! Thx

Google Earth Imagery converted to an AT5 map and loaded on to an SD card and ran in the unit. It works just like your Navionics card and has GPS embedded into it so as you move, it moves. Instead of seeing contours you can see the low water imagery (Or pre-impoundment) on your unit. You can run it side by side on a split screen with have navionics and half imagery so you get both.....but it's a system resource hog. That image is my actual trail where I am fishing what is now under water. Those large rocks are not exposed above water and most people have no clue they are there.......and they always hold fish. This option is now available for HB units and I've seen some guys doing the same thing.
I gave up on the navionics app. Only allowed 200 waypoints
Great thread!
not sure if everyone knows, but google just released a new online version of earth. alot quicker and has some nice features. https://earth.google.com/web/

There's a way to build maps for lowrance? Can I take images I have and line them up with points on my unit to produce an overlay?
