is it a good idea when storing a boat with 150 merc to keep it tilted up and using transom saver or to trim it level? pros and cons
thanks

I keep mine level. I think it's better that way so the fluids stay in place.

Drip it down, trim/tilt cylinders aren't exposed to the elements that way.
If it is kept outside I would keep it trimmed down in the winter to keep rain water from collecting in it and freezing. Don't know if it would but...
I also like the suggestion about keeping it trimmed down to keep them trim rams retracted and not exposed to the elements.
If you are fishing every couple of days in the summer I probably wouldn't mess with taking it off the transom saver.
I keep mine trimmed down

Up off the trim rods keeps the system at 0 pressure. all the way down if its going to freeze. transom saver is irrelevant, your transom will lift your whole boat completely out of the water, it doesn't even know the motor is back there. Fluids dont care either.
