Results of April NoAl Tournament on Wheeler

The April NoAl tournament was held on Wheeler out of Decatur Harbor with a pretty good turnout consisting of eight teams. We had a really pretty day even though it was a little breezy later in the afternoon and, for some of us at least, the fish were a little more cooperative than they can sometime be for that lake.

First place went to Justin Graves and Hunter Roberts with a mixed bag of largemouth and smallmouth weighing 13.92 pounds. Finishing in second place was Heath and Mike Webb with a bag weighing a total of 13.20 pounds anchored by a really nice smallmouth just shy of four pounds which secured big fish honors as well. Congratulations to the winners and to everyone who made the trip to fish.

The next NoAl tournament will be on the 20th of May. The consensus of the this month's participants was for our next tournament to be at Pickwick and we'll be launching out McFarland. Look for a sign up thread that'll be posted in the next couple of days.

Well shoot.........the NBT tourney is same day, same ramp. I might fish both depending on weigh-in time, and if I do I will be solo due to having a junior fish with me in the NBT.

I haven't been able to find my fish on that lake at all lately. A buddy and I fished the Relay for life tournament and only managed 8.73 on 5 fish. And that was culling up twice LMAO. I've never fished pickwick before, but I'll be out there with you guys pending I don't have to work that day!

What's the water patrol guy like down there now in the state boat...when he first got the gig he was so strung out for surface area seemed like everybody he pulled over and checked he wrote them up for something...is he still pretty bad with writing folks tickets?
