Lotta rumors going around, where theres smoke theres fire, I'd say its no coincidence the guy that won the classic and runs a legend didn't plug the boat he's running once, don't think wheeler said much either when he won the first elite event this year, very different than when chris lane won the classic and mentions legend over and over.

It does seem like the company came out of the gates pretty hot and gained some momentum initially with the V20. But it seems like things have been pretty quiet lately. Then there was the rumors of the guys that left Ranger getting involved. Idk stuff seems odd lately

Legend is still holding to its plan, " one boat at a time".
I think legend builds around 300 custom boats a year.
The v20 is thier top seller.
If it was a weak setup this board would would be overloaded with complaints.

Go to some of the other brand of boats here on bbc and you will see what owner complaints are all about.
A lot of are true sub par work standards that the the owner fixes.

The hull on my 211r is sweet, I am really enjoying scooting along with lake winds blowing 20mph or so.
No rattles, no leaks and no sqeeks.
Everyone that goes out wih me always admirers the boat and its proformance.

If Legend changes ownership, somebody wiil own a very nice custom bassboat company.

    ...........or

Someone buys the company to end yet another bass boat competitor.

I would like to see Legend stay right where they are for the next 50 years. It can be achieved if those in charge don't get greedy. Don't let the money of someone else own you.

    Stay true to your passion.
    Legend,

I stopped at the plant yesterday and Kody was outside when I pulled in. I introduced myself and my wife and then asked if they time to repair a storage box light strip that was out. He walked inside and a couple minutes later said back her in here. 15 or 20 minutes later repairs were complete. Kody remained with us the whole time, was very professional and represents Legend well. Outstanding customer service!!!

I did ask him about the buy out rumors. He said rumors have been around for a couple years now but assured me there are no plans or discussions of a buy out.

Are you suggesting it would be a good thing for the current Legend ownership to sell out?

I think he's saying Mr. Qualls can put a stop to speculation by publicly saying there will be no buyout this summer but has yet to do so.
