    Thank you sir. I really like the way the 797 looks in the water. Very level. Not "ass heavy" at all. This hull just seems to me to be one that would jump right out of the water and up on plane. I hate a boat that wallows around nose high for a long time when you take off. I came REAL close to trying to buy this boat. I just did not want to make two 17 hour road trips, with one pulling the boat. I will still have about a six hour one way to Corsicana, Texas, though.

    Lasalle, it's easy to see you really want a 797. If that Iowa boat is in as new condition as it looks and you can save substantial money over the price of a new one, I would have to at least go have a look. I understand the long drive just to look though. Maybe could work out a deal with owner to pick you up at nearest airport so you can inspect without driving up first.
