Regular or Super Unleaded? Marine Stabil on fill up? Hard to find anything other than 10% ethonal without paying 50 cents more a gallon.

Per Don Weed in the Mercury forum...he advises to run 87 or 89 at the most (even if it has ethanol). He also has a cocktail of Mercury ingredients that he recommends to cut down carbon deposits.

The newer Merc's are built for 10% or less. I use unleaded 10% 87 and DFI oil. I use Quickkleen every other gas up and Quickkare when I know I won't be getting out for a few weeks (rare). I did change out the fuel lines from the tank to the ethanol proof stuff. Had this motor two years now without any fuel related issues at all.
