    Unhappy Trolling motor mount area issue 1997 202c

    Here is the back story...
    changed my water pump out on my o/b.
    gear linkage didn't get put back right...
    so when I tried to shift to forward or reverse... no response
    ... so when I used my trolling motor to get me back to the bank to tie off and get trailer my troller would not come up I could not stop the boat. When it hit I could hear ripping for a second... no damage to gel coat... any suggestions
    do I just get some good backing and let her go or what?​
