    Gas tank question

    I have a 2002 216. Is the gas tank on it plastic or a metal?

    I have an 02 180 and mine is plastic, so I'd assume yours is too.

    Plastic, but you have access holes behind your seats to get to the tank. The 2002 model MAY have inserts in the backs of the seats that you can remove (Velcro) and get to your tank. Mine is a 2000 model and I have to take the entire seat out to see mine!
