    Loan

    If I find a boat that I want and have the cash for the purchase is it possible to get a loan for a boat I already own? Do not want to tie up that much cash.

    We have had buyers write a check for a boat then complete the finance. Sometimes that happens when a buyer drives 10 hours to see a boat and did not want the financing done ahead of time. The title and lien work would still move from seller to buyer with the lien. If the title work makes a stop in between, some lenders do not do what they would consider a re-finance.
