The nc bass champions tournament location has CHANGED to havens garden in washington nc. bathrooms are available in the parking lot or across the street in the park. if you plan on utilizing the restauraunt they have told me they only want and allow patrons of backwater jacks to use their facilitys. besides the location change the BIG NEWS is the city of washington is now sponsoring the nc bass champions tournament trail. rules are still the same as before but we are encouraging everyone and all to attend from anywhere in the state of nc and nationally. Format for the tournament is as follows:

100 dollar entry fee per boat wether individual or team

safelight blast off according to number u paid to register
    weigh in at 3 pm
2/10 lb deduction for dead fish
1/2 pound penalty per minute for being late to weigh in up to 5 minlate after 5 min late is a dq

    any questions please ask

again the city of Washington NC and the NC bass champions wants to thank you and hope all can participate

the city said if i get enough turnout for my tournaments and get people to stay in hotels and such and boost tourism they would put me in for a grant to use for the tournament trail. right now they are not puttin anything in the payout as of yet.

Not trying to hijack but I am still confused about this fee. If the above is the use of it, how is the fee optional and why would anyone OPT IN for it when they aren't required to?

its optional for this year because the main sponsor wanted to focus on participation in the tournaments rather then gain members
