Heading to Grand soon, was there Saturday and got blown smooth off the lake. I'm a grass oriented guy and found zero. Not looking for anyone's secret spots but where can a fellow go catch a couple? Thanks for your time.

You won't find any grass. Was also there on Saturday and we had 12.5 lbs. Took 18+ for the win and 14 to get a check (7 places). We caught fish in just about all pockets with chunk rock banks in 4-5 foot of water on sq. bills and jigs on lower end to mid lake. We had 8 keepers and probably 30 short fish.

Thank you sir. That's a mean lake in the wind.. good luck to you
July 4th can be very exciting. Saw a 46' Fountain bottom up in the mouth of Duck creek one 4th. Larry
There’s no use being stupid if you’re not willing to show it off.
I imagine it's tough fishing there on July 4th!! I was there the day of the Nichols marine tournament...there was at least 1 boat every place that you would ever want to fish. Got caught up in the mad dash to make weigh in. Wow
Yes you can get your butt handed to you on it when it's windy. No doubt.
We fished it one March. Triton series tourney. They used to launch out of Martin's. Dang wind got up and by the time we got back to the ramp area, my friend was begging me to go to the bank. It's a monster for sure.
