Healed to KY Lake Thursday thru Saturday and it seems rooms are full. I did get one though. Plan on going out of KY Lake Dam Marina is there a lot of tournaments this weekend? And how is the fishing. Thanks

Wouldn't go out of KDM Saturday. Big tourney out of there will have it more than full. Moors also has a decent tourney that day. Should be 200 or so boats out on Saturday.
Where do you find out if there are tournaments at KY Lake? Coming down from N. Illinois and fishing 4/22 and 4/23. We have found some rooms up there at KY Lake Dam as well. We also thought about staying in Murray since we have family there.
I would assume bass fishing should be pretty good that weekend and the crappie might be even better???
Thanks,
D

Believe it or not, there's a quilting convention in Paducah around that time and that's a big reason for the room shortage.
yes I remember that now thanks

I got to ask as I am from the North... What is the deal with flipping into the flowers on KY Lake. I have fished KY lake for a long time since I was a kid (mostly crappie) but only in March or late, late fall. I assume they are raising the lake and the water level is getting to where the flowers bloomed already???
We will be staying at KY Dam Village next weekend on 4/21 - 4/23 for a quick get away. Hope to have a nice weekend of ripping lips.
Thanks ahead for the reply.

Yeah, I think I saw some pics of it in a different thread. Hope the fishing is on. We had an okay trip down to TN for spring break. We like to bass fish, but if anything else, we will throw some crappie jigs.
