Has anybody tried using aftermarket automotive performance plug wires on their mercury motors? I was considering trying some like Accel or Moroso 8mm wires. I would use the custom set that you can make any length.

I've seen a few at the races running the custom cut to length MSD wires. Had them on my drag car will probublay do the same when I'm ready for a new set.
Yes I just can't see spending $90 for mercury plug wires.
I thinks the Ngk ones from jay are 45.00 iirc.
