Had Sanderson install; trailer steps, new fish ruler. And as always did an outstanding job...

I like the new rule out of the way but handy when you need it.

My ruler is supposed to be here tomorrow. I hope it has some instructions. The two cup holder/toolbolders came with no instructions and I am afraid to cut on my boat. Called the factory today and Bill transferred me to someone on the shop. He said "I better let you talk to the guy that designed them"....let me see if Darris is around.

No luck finding him. Supposed to call tomorrow. We will see.

Lee, if you have installed those in a retrofit, call me please.

I haven't installed a cup holder yet, will in the next day or two. I have four sets of them if anyone needs any. I didn't know they came in pairs when I ordered four of them.

The rulers I received didn't have any instructions, it's pretty straight forward though.

I decided to pick up my stuff at the factory while at the rally so I can talk to Todd and Darryl and have them show me how to install. Step ups, tool holder and measuring board

I got the tool holder while my boat was at the factory a few weeks back I really like it. Gonna get step soon, not quite sure on ruler placement yet I'd really like to see it in person. Personally think the ruler holder would have been neat if built in with the tool holder.

Now we need the tool holder for the passenger cup holder behind driver seat. And a net holder behind the seats would be Awesome, I lost my favorite net first trip out in my boat.

I actually HATE nets... The only time I carry one is on tournament day. Even then it's use is limited to big fish on crank baits.
They are always in the way or hung up on something.. that's why a good out of the way net holder would be nice.

I use a retractable folding net made by Frabill and store it behind the driver's seat. So far, no nets lost and it stays out of the way. I don't flirt with 100 mph, though.

My dad had one of those folding kvd nets in his Bullet, ive thought about switching to it and storing it in the hole to the left of the passenger seat but I like the net that I have and ive used it for many many years

I bought a folding net also and just lay it in the open area next to the passenger. The only time I use a net is at the rally and when we are at Hartwell for 2 weeks. Like fishnfireman said, a lure with a set of sticky trebles stuck all over a stripers face is NOT what I want to deal with. Last fall I had a 14" spot with a very bad attitude bury the rear treble into my left index finger and I ended up at the emergency room in Anderson for a short break in the action. $165.00 later we were back on the water. Of course I never would have pulled a net out for a 14" fish but I WILL for a 10LB striper!!
