    2017 Legends of Lake Fork

This tournament looks interesting with hourly payouts.
Can a person find lodgin easy.
I have fished Fork but not in peak tourist season. I hear it's some kind of crowded in the spring.

I got a lake cabin for the tournament.
515 cabins about 2 miles from lake.
    I sure like Lake Fork.
Is ramp parking difficult with a tournament this size on Fork.

This will be my 4th year fishing. It's really a good tournament. As stated, good lodging fills up quick. You'll have to search if you're just now looking.

Sorry about jumping this tread, but was wondering what if anything Legend Boats does for the Legend owners that fishing the Legends of Fork tournament? I heard in the past they may of had some sort of tent or visiting area set up where they would do minor service work, and look over your rig if your a Legend boat owner. Is this true? Any chance they throw any kind of owners party or private shindig? Looking forward to my 1st Legends Tournament this May. I've paid my entry and have a room at the main weigh site at Lake Fork Marina. Just curious what Legend does for its owners here? Thanks

Double hourly payback for Advantage program members. Last year I had an issue with my Point-1 and went to the Lowrance booth and they determined it to be bad. The Legend crew came over and took off the shifter and installed a new one for me.

I have seen them doing some buffing and maybe minor scratch repairs, but, the main weigh in site is so hectic that it's almost not worth pulling in there for. Guess it depends on how bad you want something done.

Last year after a long day of fishing, Legend was nice enough to give me a foot massage.

    It was wonderful and FREE!

I had a lot of fun. Was my first bass tournament and I cashed a check. I'm hooked. Maybe next year I can win a boat.

Fished the three days and one pre fish day.
Had to work for most bass.
Got a pay check on second day of tournament.
Lots of fun but weather was nasty.
I look forward to next yrs tournament.
Might enter the fall lake fork big splash tournament.

Reach out to Don or Sue Hampton at Legends of lake fork. Easy to find on internet or FB. I went first year and always get email brochure and reminder. Fun event and open to fish...don't have to be in a Legend. Been a couple times.
