    HELP, 1989 CAJUN, ESPRITE (HIN)

    My son just purchased this 1989 Cajun Esprite bassboat , I live in NorCal and he lives in Texas, so I can't just zip over to help him. DMV needs his HIN #'s for transfer of ownership. On my Ranger 520DVX, the HIN is on back right hand corner of transom. Is it the same for a Cajun ? Thankyou in advance for the help. Tight Lines

    I have an '88 Espirit. Yes, it should be in the same general vicinity as your Ranger.

    On my Cajun, on the upward-facing surface of the top-cap at the transom, there are two metal grates on both port and starboard. Look under the grate on the starboard side. That is where my HIN# plate is attached.
