2012 Pro XS with 596 hrs

Im looking at buying a new rig. The motor has 596 hours but has 2 years left on a platinum warranty. Ive been assured that majority of the hours are at idle and that a print out proving so can be provided. What are ya'lls thoughts? The boat its self is very clean, and rigged out nicely. The only thing thats holding me back is the 596 hours because I read so many for sale posts about blown power heads after a couple hundred hours. Any advice?

Depends on how it was run. Low RPM Optimax engines I've seen go 2500 hours.

Like Savage said. Also, high hours at low rpm on a opti is a bad thing. It causes carbon build up.

Wouldn't bother me. Still has warranty too.
But definitely get a certified mechanic you trust to inspect it.
