    LAKE JACKSONVILLE

Driving down to Lake Jacksonville on Sunday and was wondering if anybody out there fished this place in the spring? First time there and any info will help.

    Thanks

Fish the grass lines. Traps and jerkbaits. If you go up shallow try a spinnerbait or chatterbait. Sometimes you can catch them on a jig on the dam.

You need as $100k insurance policy and day pass which can be bought at Camp store at Launch. Is that Diner on North side of hwy still open ? Cheap and real good food.

Wasn't a bad trip caught some good fish. Wind was blowing about 25-30 out of the south so it made it a bit difficult to fish the whole lake. Water temps ranged from 56 by the dam to 60 at the other end of the lake.
