I've always had great success for numbers of fish in the jones creek area. It's upriver. This time of year it's great for numbers with an occasional 4-5 pounder. Ha! We will be there next weekend.

Throw a watermelon chatterbait slow rolled on the 1st break line . Make sure the bait is ticking the grass and keep trolling motor going. Look for pad stems and hard bottoms for best results. Shallow humps in back of creeks has been holding some fish staging but keep covering water and it will happen. Don't get off trolling motor until you get a bite.
