    Question Lake St John

Anyone know if there's a reliable way to read the water level at Lake St. John? Thinking about making a trip up there pretty soon.

    thanks

My guess is the water is probably a couple of feet up right now. Had a lot of rain,
Club had a tournament weekend before all the rain. 18 boats. 0 limits. No one caught more than 3 fish. Tough day.

I figured it might be a little high...I might just fish in the Atchafalaya Basin this weekend

If you were going next weekend, what would you be throwing and targeting?

Black and/or white buzzbait. Grass, lily pads, shallow stuff.
