    what is wrong

    HDS 12 Touch G2
    Having an issue reading my 2D sonar. The transducer is in the hull.
    Here is a pic sitting in a lock with motor off

    Electrical interference. Post on the other lowrance page, not many guys cruise this page.

    I notice that you have the downscan overlay on. Probably wont affect it but maybe try turning it off, also maybe try turning auto sensitivity off...worst case you can reset the sonar settings and start back over.....

    I would set my sen. to +2 and color line to 73 also unit to shallow water.

    With thru-hull transducers you generally want to increase your sensitivity to something like A+2 or around that area, this should help you out a lot.

    I did a restart today and its working now. I must have pushed something I think I messed with the transducer selection maybe. Thank you for the help I am sure I will have more questions soon when I get the Lss2

    Be sure you've selected the right frequency for the transducer. Should be the 83/200 setting for in shallow water.
