tag on my striker 7cv says to replace with gt20 which is a 4 pin connector. could I also replace with a gt22 which is an 8 pin connector? I haven't looked at the back of the unit to see if there are 4 or 8 pins yet just thought I would ask while I was here at work. what is the difference in the two transducers besides the pin count?
The GT20 comes in a 4 pin 010-01960-00 , and 010-01960-01 in an 8 pin.
I don't know if your unit is compatible with the GT22 but it probably is.

They should operate exactly the same. It's just the kind of connector you need to plug into your unit.
