    I just got the razor.
I don't have any of the same props that I had with the 8" plate except the 25 fury.
And I can't definitively comepare speeds. I've changed allot boats loaded different. Hard to say.
But I don't think it made much difference really. Overall handling is definitely better with the 14" hydraulic.

    Is it hydraulic or standard?

    Gotcha.

I remember reading on a much earlier post on another site (maybe scream and fly or something like that) you post some non GPS numbers. Thanks for the input.

    Little update for you.
Blew my lower unit out. Got a new one.
    And got a 24 Bravo 1 XS.

Ran it today as well as the ot4 for comparison.

    24 Bravo 1 XS 65.5@5750, 2.5" below pad.
Can hit 66 but drop to 12psi water pressure when I raised the plate any higher.
    26 OT4 66.7@5050 3" below pad

    Air temps about 80deg

I have a 99 201d and I run a 25 tempest plus, 69 by myself loaded down with good hole shot till I fill the livewells then it's just decent, only turning 5600 rpm though, tried the 26 trophy but only ran 66, just got it back from getting worked so waiting to run it and also bought a 24 fury 3, I'll post back after the weekend

Ran the 26 trophy today, slipped a little bit and only got 63 mph, threw on the 24 fury 3, ran 66 with 1 person, loaded down and full tank of gas, up on plane like a rocket, filled the livewells, still up on plane like a rocket

I had a 26 pitch 4 blade Trophy on my 2000 201 with a 225 Opti and I couldn't spin it fast enough to power load the boat on the trailer. I was turning it 5400 rpm's and pushing my boat around 66 mph. I just put a 24 pitch 3 blade fury on it and not only can I power load the boat I'm turning 6800 RPM's and almost 70mph. That is with no plugs and right out of the box. I'm kind of wishing I went to a 23 but this one seems to be working just fine.
