    Swimbait battle stick

Here is one I just completed. Tried some pyro work on the grips on this one after turning them.

American Tackle Microwaves - nanolite guides
    Mad-Swirled Reel Seat
    Blank: Rod Geeks B4
Custom turned grips and pyro work
Trim and winding checks sourced from mud hole and voodoo rods
    Butt cap custom laser engraved

This will be used to throw basstrix and such.

How does the green finish hold up on those rod blanks are the like a carrot stick and the color shows scratches bad. Also how easy was burning that cork

I am a fan of Kokopelli and think it's cool that you put him on your rod.

The paint holds up very well. Rod geeks has around 20+ colors they spray blanks. When the client wants a colored blank, its my blank of choice. As far as burning cork goes, it was very easy. I bought a $20 pyro pen on amazon, printed my designs off with a laserjet print, transferred the graphic and then burnt it.

If the grip was a little bigger, I would have been able to add a bit more detail. I did not have a fine enough tip no my pen to get all the details on it.
