    Sarasota area bass fishing

    Anyone have any info on bass fishing from shore around Sarasota ? Gonna b there for the next week. Had a friend suggest the rowing ponds by the mall area. Also the celery fields. Are they any good. Also what are bass biting on this time of year? Thanks Ryan

    Yea I usually spend several mornings wading for trout in the bay. I love eating trout. Just wanted to see if I could catch a nice bass or 2 one day.

    Hersh, what'd you catch that on? Back in high school that lake was completely isolated and we used to kill them. Now I can't buy a bite in there.
