Yep can't replace the ride of a champion!
Hooo, I bet that's going to be fun. Right there with ya.

You have any pics with the motor cover off?
she's a beauty!
Sweet boat love those champs
I'm still working on my setup. So far, I've been limited by having to use the CSM remote control. I've seen over 74 @ 5800 with a 26p stock Raker HO at 2.25" P2P. But it's no fun trying to handle it one-handed. If I drop it down to 3.5", it's much more civilized... a nice smooth 71 @ 5400 with no fight.
The big news is last night I finally solved the hotfoot problem and now that's installed. I'll get the blinker trim on tomorrow and I'll be much happier.
Holeshot with the 201/G2 is almost immediate. I'd guess around a second or two and it's on plane. From there it accelerates like never before. It really does push me back in the seat. My old Venom was beginning to struggle to do 64 but the G2 is just loafing at that speed. And where my Venom was so sensitive to how the boat was loaded, it seems like the G2 is not affected by that whatsoever.
One other thing I noticed is how strong the G2 is coming out of a sharp turn. I can do a 180 and as the boat starts to slow down, I just have to ask the G2 for some more power and it's there with plenty to spare. The torque is really incredible.

Just did the same and have no regrets on my 201. Only difference is I put a 250 SHO on.
So, no pics with the cover off?
Glad you got the hot foot figured out. Now you can let it eat wake!
Very Nice

I've heard the new hot foot with the G2s is really nice, sort of fly-by-wire, isn't it?

Just noticed something on your trailer, do you have a C Channel trailer or a Tube trailer, reason I ask is I have a C Channel and have an Attwood Master cylinder and would love to get rid of it and go to an A60 Actuator. I've tried and tried to think of a way to do it as all the other trailers I've seen have the A60 in the tube. Yours is the first I've seen with the actuator on the top of the trailer frame.
I've been trying to figure the hotfoot out since last summer. I put it on hold while I completed all the other projects. My plan was to get the motor software loaded with the hotfoot option selected then actually figure out how to make it usable. So, before I took the boat in for the motor hanging and software work, I went ahead and mounted it on the T&H slide and the BRP mount and made all the required network connections. Of course, in that location about the only one in my family that could use it was my 6 year old granddaughter!
I thought I would have to put the BRP mount on the waterjet and cut it down to a size that would fit under the 201 'bubble' and then cut the BRP hotfoot pedal arm in order to shorten it enough to fit the newly sized mount.
I got to looking at it again the other night and I came up with this alternative plan. It actually works great. I know it looks a little weird at first but its really a very comfortable fit... even more comfortable than my original old style mechanical hotfoot. I remounted the blinker trim today... having learned the error of my ways. I thought I would have better access to the touch inputs on the 3.5c touch display and Icon pro gauges without a blinker trim but I learned quickly that I can't do without it. Instead of putting the original dual blinker back on, I went with a single... preferring to keep my jackplate switch on the dash.
It mounts up high between the 'bubble' and the side of the boat on the wall between the starboard rod locker and the area under the console. The two lower bolts pop through the wall right next to the rod locker flip light and the top bolt goes thru in that hard to reach area just below the wiring conduit to the bow. Its a solid mount, for sure.
The trailer is a C channel. I'll send you some pics of the actuator.
