I went yesterday and had 52 degree water. Caught 100s of small crappie. The bigger ones had eggs but not ready as far as I could tell. I saw a ton of bass boats but nobody setting the hook. Water looked great as usual.

Is the area beyond the Pine Grove ramp off limit before April 15? like you can't be in it at all even if you don't fish and just passing thru?

It used to be that you couldn't be in the area at all. I don't know if that is still the case or not.

I stayed in 58 all day seemed. Only managed 2 bass in my clubber. 7.13lbs missed a check by .09 and 1st place by 1.5 pounds. Tough way to go home. A lot of grass! I may go back this weekend and get some revenge!

At least you didn't swamp. Monroe was rough yesterday! We had 2 around 4. Lake fished small because of the wind. Boy scout side was 56-57. Paynetown area had 58. The fish are shallow and ready to eat. I am going to Barren wed/thur, may try Monroe again Friday.

Wind was brutal there yesterday. We stayed on the idle side all day and saw 55-59 degree water. We caught lots of fish but only a couple keepers.
