While it's a REALLY cool find probably a once in a lifetime opportunity, the price is nothing more than a jail house raping. $34K? Ha! The retail price was probably that in 2001.

Was thinking the same thing... 34K for a 16yr old boat... It's gonna need tires, batteries, all fuel line hoses changed out to deal with ethanol... A lot to be asking... Dan

So, what is the boat worth? And, is a 2001/203 a good boat? I know nothing about them.

I wonder if the motor was ever fired. Or if the rig was ever fueled. If it was kept indoors or in an environmentally controlled building so rubber gaskets and such didn't dry out, with a few routine things checked and done pre-preemptively, could be damned near ready to rock and roll with out a whole lot of effort. Agree, motor would be the big question.

I might have to call to get the scoop. 34k is steep but who knows what they will actually take.

I could see someone paying $25k for it, but I would want all new gaskets, hoses, fuel system, etc. gone through before ever firing it up.

So I called for grins. About 4 hours on the engine been in the water 1 time. The owner would start it on the hose once a month. It's a consignment boat and they are sticking to $32k. The owner had multiple Champions but never used this one.

my uncle still has the sales receipt for when he bought my boat in 98...

It was $36k out the door.

I can see that 203 selling for $25k.....but 16 years old with only 4 hours of "hose time"? No thanks.

Oh I'd say in the low to mid 20's or so. It's a find fer sure but that kind of cash is a big no for the average guy. Electronics, tires, fuel lines, batteries ect you're looking at another 2-4K easy.
