Love my Oznium bolts. Went with the 6mm red and they disappeared in the gunnel of my boat. Very inconspicuous, nearly invisible.

I used the 1 watt lights and they are perfect, no dimmer needed at all. Could not be more pleased!

Oznium all the way for deck lights. Lots of guys use the 11mm but I wish I would have done the 6mm like crank. The 11 is bright and needs a dimmer but they look really good. I also put 8 up front so that might be why they're bright

for actually fishing at night I defiantly prefer a dimer, I like to dial them down to just a dot that outlines the deck. im running 3 watt stainless steel,
    16 red and 2 white

Which Oznium is everyone going with, SS or aluminum and in 6mm I assume. With or without lens?

SS only comes in 11mm. If you're going 6mm it's gonna be aluminum.

also the aluminum are 1 watt and stainless are 3 watt, the 3 watt isn't necessary because it has to be dimed anyway, I just bought the SS for the quality, they have heaver wire, either one works just fine

For you guys that installed the Ozniums, did you wire into your existing courtesy light circuit or run new dedicated circuit for them? Also, seeing as they need to be wired in parallel to get 12V to each led, how did you go about wiring yours up?

Took the words out of my mouth. I'd imagine a two wires running the length of the bow and vampire splices

Phoenix already has an extra accessory switch so that's what I wires in to. I came of that switch and ran a ground and power to the back and a ground and power to the front. Tie each one in to those. They aren't to hard to install depending where you put them. I wanted the nuts on the back of all mine so it was a little tough. I put a little marine goop around each one right before I pushed it in to seal and help hold them and once you get the nuts on the back they are solid. You will need a dimmer even with the 1w.

I installed a new fuse block in the back and added 4 lighted rocker switches to my dash. I ran positive and negative on both sides of the boat and tied each light in series. Connected everything to the switch to complete.

You can see the two lighted switches on my dash in this picture. These are the lighted round rockers about the diameter of a nickle.

Those Ozniums are clean. Did you get yours with the lens or without?
