    There is few videos in youtube. Onix 3.0 autochart issues. Hopefully thats not common problem. I havent tried mine yet.

    For bottom hardness you want enough Sensitivity to see the wider bottom echo without giving you a false depth reading of double the depth.

    I would guess any adjustments for weeds you can make would be to not overpower the weed returns with a high sensitivity setting so they don't represent the bottom. You want the depth displayed, not the distance to the top of the weeds.

    I don't have any real good examples of bottom hardness changes, but at the top left of the depth readout box, the yellow is thicker than most of the rest of the bottom. That thicker return is due to a slightly harder bottom. Harder bottoms return the strongest echos.



    You can find the hard/soft transition areas using the Green/Red color pallet for SI, then navigate directly above them so your 2D pulse will record the difference.

    Wayne thanks for the info but I was referring to auto chart live. Probably should have been more clear
