G-Force ELIMINATOR™ Trolling Motor Prop Nut

Wanted to share a tip for those of you running the Eliminator prop nut on their TM.
Periodically check the 5 cooling vent holes in the nut for mud, or scum build-up. I cleaned mine today before reinstalling. Paper clip, pipe cleaner, and water. 3 of 5 holes were completely stopped up.
    Just a heads up.

Is the Eliminator worth the money for a weekend fisherman?

It's worth it for a retired fisherman that fishes any day/s of the week.

Yes. It's worth it. It does reduce vibration from props that aren't perfectly balanced, and therefore noise. That was one reason I recommended those running the Eliminator check the cooling holes to remove build-up that might knock it out of balance.

Just for ease of taking the prop off it is worth it. Had some line wrap on my tm shaft. Was able to clean it off on the water very easy.

I have one for the TourMG 36v/109 and TheEliminator™ will NOT work w/certain tm props.. The prop is a weed prop and flares out near the head.

Yep. It really took out the high power vibration. I could not believe the difference it made.

I noticed no change in vibration at all - the only thing I like is the ability to change the prop by hand.

I am going to get one for just this reason. I had a tournament Sunday and had made just a few casts when I got someone's line wrapped around my prop. I could not get it cleared and could not get the prop off. I had to run back to the launch to get a wrench out of my truck. (I could have sworn I had one in the boat.) After the tournament I was telling another club member my tale of woe. He took me to his boat and removed the G-Force Eliminator with his bare hand.
