    1989 evinrude XP 150 part

    Where can I locate The dual steering adapter plate #0125543 for a 1989 Evinrude XP150. I know I can order a new one but I'm looking for a used one.

    You know if converting to dual steering, you will need the kit with new connecting rod/rod adapter/mount and hardware.....not just the plate.

    Replied to your PM. I have all of the rest of it, my plate is broke. Never use a impact to run the nut down on the steering tube!

    The only thing I allowed to use an impact on in my shop was lug nuts. Maybe sometimes a stubborn flywheel nut, maybe sometimes.

    We don't see many salt water motors up here. I only worked on one, an older motor too, what a nightmare.
