    Letting others use your boat

    So if I let someone else use my boat and I am not accompanying the other angler. How does Whose insurance is liable while the boat is being towed to the lake? Whose insurance is responsible while on the water? Thanks

    Generally speaking, yours. Most insurance contracts state an insured is any person or legal entity using your covered watercraft with your permission. There are situations where your boat wouldn't be covered, however.
