Why oh why did he "Jeff" just say that!!! Obviously you didn't see that Lee's boat broke down and he had to transfer his fish and gear to a "RANGER" in order to complete the days fishing. Yes the Legend is photographed being towed away by TowBoatU.S. and a happy smiling J. Lee is driving away in a ranger. Ranger saves the day..... THANKS FOR NOTHING LEGEND BOATS! Now we have have to listen to "Ranger honk" brag all year.

Wasn't the boat that broke it was the lower unit on the Merc. No fault of the legend.

Says the guy with a Triton, with no factual basis to anything that comes out of his mouth. Indeed, it was his lower unit that broke down during the tournament. Which, in due time, will eventually happen to everyone who owns a boat motor regardless of the company that produces it if it has enough hours on it.

Any halfwit realizes that the chunk of fiberglass that the angler standing on is about as relevant to his success fishing, as the car company's sticker on the front of a NASCAR drivers car who just won the Daytona 500.

Jordan Lee was going to win that tournament regardless of the brand boat he had, brand of rods he was using, brand of reel he was using, or the brand of anything else. He won based purely with his skills, and his ability to capitalize on the moment of being in the right place at the right time. It was a well earned victory and he solely deserves all the credit.

Thank God!!! Hear that Ranger waving flag guy.... it was the motor! I believe that all the boats out there will out live it's owner if you don't hit a stump or rock pile. We just have a great number of very high quality bass boat companies out there.

Yes, you could take it two ways, maybe him and his brother are running Legends by choice as they like them best and don't have a boat deal... or contract is up and he will be in a different brand next year. Maybe rumors are true about changes coming this summer with the company, thought it was odd especially considering how Chris Lane fawned all over his legend when he won the classic.

Seems like people keep hinting at Legend selling out to another company or something. Where is all this coming from?

I hope they keep jumping ship. That means there will be a lot of hardly used Legends for sale in the near future. .....this coming from a Ranger guy currently driving a Skeeter.

Some of you guys are brutal. I stopped by here to congratulate Legend and Jordan and there's smack going down. he won it out of a Legend along with every other manufacturers product on board. He had a mechanical failure which can happen to anybody with any manufacturer. He made it back to weigh in and that's all that counts. Ya got to give that young fella kudo's for not falling apart mentally like some of the veterans would. He kept his cool in one of the biggest events in his career and he made it happen. It doesn't matter why he chose Legend now does it?

No denying he is a world class stick but still get the feeling he kinda got lucky in this deal and part of that is BASS's fault for having the classic on such a cruddy lake, a small lake with that much pressure leading up to the event it kinda just becomes a crapshoot.
