Longrodder had a good running 21/2.5 200 with a tempest. I can't remember what pitch. Maybe he will comment.

The tempest has good bow lift for the less HP motors. This frees the hull up better at slower speeds. I bet the Fury4 would also work great.

    I'm currently running a 25" Tempest, (A-40 series), on my 21xd Bullet w/ a 200xri on it.

FastBird, I'm currently turning my 25" A-40 6600 rpm's @ 77 mph. I have a modified (by JSRE), 200xri and am running it 2" below the pad. Currently have my lower unit @ Bob's to have a Big Foot low water intake & CLE installed on it. Hoping I can get it up to 6800 rpm's (that's where jay wants me to run it at, max rpm's. Motor is supposed to be rated @ 240 HP after rebuild, nothing radical) and some where close to 80 mph. Yes the prop has been B&B by Josh @ Steve's Custom Prop's. I picked up 150 rpm's and 2 mph after I got the prop back from Josh. I don't know what prop I'll end up with after I get the lower unit back and see what it will do?
