You won't find a published generation schedule for Sooner like the dams controlled by the ACOE. The units are dispatched by the Southwest Power Pool based on demand and economics. They are off right now. One unit is in an overhaul the other is off based on mild temps/low demand and a lot of wind generation. As the weather warms and the demand increases they will be back on.

Not sure where you are getting your information, but it is not accurate. Sooner has had both units in service this year and both have generated a fair amount, considering the warm winter. One unit is presently in an overhaul that started in early March lasting until early May. One unit has been on and off several times this year due to fluctuating demand (mild weather) and a lot of wind generation. It was, in fact, started up over night and is on this morning. That on and off operation will continue throughout the spring.

The generators were off yesterday, water was 64 deg. Bass were hidden from us but the carp were HUGE and spawning against the banks. It made for a great show seeing these monsters flopping around in the shallows. The kids loved it.

Yesterday was the first day for us driving up the discharge lane. Someone busted the "no crossing" buoys and we didnt notice. We drove right up close to the powerplant but then had one of those ....um...we're all alone now.... moments so we drove back. Then we noticed the bright orange buoys along the shoreline. oops!

    :D
