    I see that now, sorry about that. I was thinking about the other style of coupler. I went and looked at mine and I guess I don't know what could cause it either. I lock my trailer with the long through style but tow with just the short pin that's attached to the coupler and no problems. I have towed with the lock in before though and it has never bent.

    Will be pulling a few hundred miles in morning to Amistad. Will let you know. That highway is rough as hell now too. Seems Texas has completely given up on maintaining roads.

    Bought one of the cheap master pin locks and left it loose No problems at all. Obviously the one I was using was getting in a bind when brake would compress and that's what was bending it. Bad news is some POS theif took the plastic cover off my trailer brake reservoir while at the ramp.

    Does anyone know which one I need for a replacement for a 2017 20 TRX. I can't even remember exactly what it looked like.
