Fastest model / motor ??

I'm fixing to purchase a 721 pro xp and I've always ran mecury. But I'm really open to other brands at this point. What's the fastest combo with 2 pp ? I know it all depends on set ups and props but I'd like to get an average opinion. Also what is the fastest model Phoenix makes?

After lost of dissucions I think we decided the 920 w/250 pro xs is the fastest at 81.

ive hit 79.2 in my 919 w/225 pro xs as well as drew had posted 79 with a 919 and sho.

721 are just as fast. High 70's or better.

Just got back from the Bassmaster Classic and the Phoenix guys I spoke to at the Phoenix booth all said the 721 is the fastest model.

919...920...721. As said, depends on setup. For optimum performance at wot, mho is the 920. The Jp size, motor, prop...there are too many options & variables in conditions where 1-2 mph could change regardless of which brand of motors you have on.

920 and then 721 but they are basically a tie, if anything you are talking like 1 mph difference. 100% affected by who is driving the boat and how much said individual weighs along with gear, hydraulic plate vs manual. Some guys only run low 70s. Others run 78-81 with the 920 and 721.
