This time we took John along with us. We got a late start because I had a dentist appointment at 8:20..When we finally got to Mutton Creek it was almost noon. When we launched the boat at the north ramp again the parking lot had several trucks and trailers already in it. The water temp at the ramp was about 52*. Water clarity was normal at Mutton Creek but got muddier the further south we went. We found 54* water about halfway to the CC bridge and started fishing there. We immediately started catching fish. We were after those big, sow, white bass we caught a few weeks back but mostly what we caught were just short bass. We like lots of bites of course so we stayed there and hammered the little stud bass for quite some time. Then we ran to CC hoping again to intersect those big whites but only found a few. I'm sure between the three of us we caught 40-50 fish and had a ball. We always do.
