Does any body have a pair of 7's, 9's, or 10's mounted at the console of a 20xd that is on ram mounts or balzout mounts. Not really interested in mounting one on top of the dash between the windshield. I have 2 balzout mounts and a 7 & 9 wanting to mount at the console. Looking for ideas and pictures if possible. One is already mounted on the top cap to the right of the gauges and works fine. Just cant figure out where to mount the second with limited room.

How about the opposite side of the console on a long arm balzout? Then youll have one on each side of the console

I had the cover pulled over the console trying out a second balzout mount. Never thought about the other side of console. I will look again this week. Soon as I posted this I read another post saying a 9" will fit under the windshield. I thought only a 7" would fit there. So that may be an option as well. Its a helix 9".

May have changed my mind about the dash mount, if a helix 9" will fit.
Is sun glare a big problem mounted there?

I have one mounted there...this is an hds 9 not an H-Bird. No major glare issues...Although you can see a glare in the photo. Never really bothered me on the lake and I love having it mounted there.

yes it does fit good. How did you mount it over that little ridge on the dash? Did you make anything special for it like wedges?

this hds7 has been upgraded. I hate to drill anymore holes but I think a 9" in the dash should be good for a long time

Guys I have this bracket stainless new in pack with the hardware if anybody needs it
So I out the helix9 at the dash and it is very close to the steering wheel. Not much room for your fingers to hold the wheel.
