Usually nothing less than an hour and rarely more than 2.5 for a day trip.

My regular/favorite lake is about 85 miles from my house. Have to drive straight through downtown OKC takes about an hour 45.

The four lakes I fish regularly are all within 45 minutes. I will drive as far as 2 hours a few times a year for a day trip, the older I get the less appealing that 2 hour drive home is for sure.

About 45 mins...to Lake St. Clair, Western Basin of Lake Erie, Detroit River, and a whole lot of lakes in between.

2-3 hours. Upper bay on Chesapeake or Potomac river are within that travel time. In PA, there are very few unlimited HP lakes, so I will travel.

Living on the coast majority of my life, I've normally traveled anywhere from 1.5hrs to 3 hrs. The few times I traveled 2-3 hrs I stayed the night.

Both of my local home lakes are about a 40 minute ride to the launch. I've done 2 hours solo drives to fish all day from daylight to dark several times. 2.5 hours to fish all with a buddy a couple times. Nowadays, I would just fish the local lakes rather than drive a couple hours.

1-2hrs tops. There's well over 10 lakes within that driving distance that has great fishing. Even more if I want to hand launch a Jon boat. It's about the only thing new your has going for it

I have Ohio River access 11 miles from my house and a small lake about the same distance in the opposite direction.. I'm not against going up to 2 hrs away though a few times a year.

Most places I fish are an hour, to an hour and a half. I think I am pretty lucky, in the fact that I have 8 or 9 lakes / bodies of water within that area.

1.5-2 hours each way.. I can be on the Ohio River in 15minutes but i'd rather make the drive to one of the lakes, especially Presque Isle!

Live a quarter mile from lake st. clair, 10 minutes to the ramp. 1 hour to lake huron or lake erie.
