    18 trx

18 TRX, 200 Pro Xs, 25 pitch Tempest, 10 inch hydraulic Atlas Jack Plate, 2.5 inches below pad, 5500 RPMs low water pickup so water pressure is not a problem my question is I see a lot of guys on here turning the same setup 5700 two 5750 rpms,i only have 5-6 hrs on motor, will it loosen up after break in ,I am running 69 GPS,with me ,half tank of fuel, and 50 pounds tackle, all of it is loaded in the back, how much will it loosen up after break in or is my tach possibly off a little,69 mph is pretty good just trying to squeeze that last 2-3 mph out of it

I've been told it will not peak until at least 10 hours. I'm about where you are on mine hour wise but only running about 64 mph with 24 Fury, 6 inch manual jack plate 3.5+ prop to pad and two Talons. Will raise motor more towards 3 soon and hopefully get more rpm and speed. And hopefully less propensity to walk.

Those number work out to 7% prop slip which is pretty freakin good. Yeah, the motor should loosen up a bit with more time on it but are you sure you tach is accurate? Is it a standard gauge or a Smartcraft gauge.

Honestly for a 200 that's not to shabby. My 250 didnt loosen up till about the 30 hr mark.. Even then I didn't gain a great amount. Probably around 50 to 100 rpm.
