Ranger
Nitro
Skeeter
Triton
Phoenix
In that order.
Perhaps I should have said top five in sales volume.

1 ranger costs as much as 2 nitros......
Daiwa / St. Croix / Abu Garcia / Sufix / Humminbird / Motorguide
T & H / Power Pole / BlueWater / Loc-R-Bar / Bravo 1 / MercMonitor
No those are newly registered boats. By dollar volume Ranger is way ahead of second place.
When I shop for my next boat unless something changes I'm looking at 2 brands. Bass Cat and Phoenix. I have no interest in the Nitro/Ranger/Stratus/Triton brand. That's just me.
Bottom Line there are a few BCB guys that will like anything BCB puts out no matter what (yes men). I like BCB they make a great boat but they have gone too far with this one to most peoples taste. I was hoping this boat would persuade to get back into a BCB...that's not going to happen....I'm unsubscribing from this mess
I actually think the opposite, as I see on here all the time the majority of BC owners while they will say what they love and why they feel BC is a better brand they will almost always tell the individual to go ride in every boat and make their mind up based on what it is they want. I also feel most BC owners will also say if they were to pick another brand it would probably be a Phoenix. To the guy comparing boat volume sales...you have a lot to learn about the market, maybe you could do some research on here or on BC site and read some of Ricks post about making a small company survive in the midst of the worst economic downturn the bass boat industry has ever seen. They stayed small for a reason, with only now beginning to grow that market, and doing it controllably rather than mass produce cookie cutter models with no innovative design. There are things I do not care for of for the new design, there are 20 things I can care less about a triton (don't even get me started on their bilge access). But to each their own. Keep in mind this is a prototype boat and is not in production yet, will there be some tweaks, I'm pretty sure there will be and there is a reason for rolling this thing out at the classic...4 more months till model year 18 rolls around and they can incorporate change where they feel is need prior to bringing it in to production.
Last I saw.. BCB has Many models to chose from. This new model is just that.. new and not even in production yet.
Is there a Perfect boat? Maybe but seems like having the Perfect car, truck, house, anything.. one can always find something to improve )
The one that's as close to prefect as I've seen is the Lanier Custom SuperCat...that's a bad dude...

Why did they put such an ugly steering wheel on such a beautiful boat?
If you're going to be dumb, you've got to be tough!
2016 BassCat Pantera II
Mercury 200 ProXs
I like the steering wheel!
This is not trash talking and it is factual.
Facts are all of those have had issues of some sort. We are not trashing them though none of those companies came to the market with their own new molds at full cost.
Ranger - challenges under Thompson Brothers and Irwin J., bought by both through court proceedings. Tracker Marine did not buy this one on the cheaps from Platinum.
Nitro - sold to JM under a leverage issue with a financier. No issues since Tracker Mar. decades ago.
Skeeter - multiple issues under former management with Revlon, Coleman and Myers. No issues since Yamaha owned.
Triton - sold to Brunswick by group ownership, sold to Platinum by Brunswick and took a public noted $18.6 million loss one quarter.
Phoenix - bought closed Bumble Bee product line to start a new company (Bee Line) and has seemed profitable.
Legend - bought failed Hawk molds from Chris Carter (Gene S.) in Oklahoma to restart product line. Going price asked was $46k
Bullet and Allison both remain functioning as they have been. Allison has not been totally focused on the bass boats for tournaments and did a great deal of racing, or their river race series between merging back into the market. The numbers are very limited in the annual bass boat registrations as are the numbers for Charger. They are all nice folks also.
