I thought long and hard about a Hobie inflatable but seems that after a few years there are glue issues, and as a fisherman, too many hook variables come into play, plus I like to fish timber areas. Just something to think about.

Yep, there's all kinds of reasons not to but the simplicity of it is the kicker. I've got a pair of camos (PA/OB) and sometimes you just want to take a couple rods and leaves the 90+ lb boats at the house.

I hear you, but I would think the airing and setting it up and taking apart and putting away etc would also be a pain. I think its a damned if you do, damned if you don't type of situation.

And of course they aren't much cheaper than a Hobie Outback.

Just curious why does almost everyone store rods vertical on the pro angler even though it has the built in horizontal storage. Is it a bad setup or something?

Easier to just grab them then constantly sliding them in and out of the tubes. I use the horizontal whIle traveling.

Ditto - ^^^. I will add it gives more space on the standing area. And it is easier to take pictures of fish on measuring board on the floor of the yak.

Pulled the trigger on an i11s and will be picking it up at the Hobie Open this week. Now I just have to sell my '17 camo Outback.

I know about the crowd thing all too well!! Just sold a PA14 but still have two PA14s and an Outback in the garage!!

bksnaz: are you planning on fishing the KBF Trail event on Havasu this November? My wife and I are planning to drive down from NorCal for the event!
