    Carpet

What is the best carpet to put back in your boat? I keep seeing people say basscat carpet any input would be greatly appreciated and what about trim pieces for the edge?

I used Bass Cat carpet and was happy with it. Just make sure your lids will close. It's 24oz.

I just put 20oz carpet in my boat a few months ago. Although it looks great, I'm noticing that it's already getting matted down where I stand up front. It's disappointing, but I don't think there's anyway around this since I stand there for 8 or 9 hours at a time. Typically, I do not use a butt seat or chair. If I had to do it again, I'd go 24oz and shave the edges of the compartment lids as necessary to get them to close.

I think I am just going to but the carpet kit from bullet that way i wont have to worry about the front deck and end up having to put a piece of trim to cover it up
