    505lbs I believe... Less than many of todays motors,,,, And a 4.2L big block.

    Ha. Yes you are correct. It's a new to me motor.

    But it has a zero hour powerhead so I have to deal with breaking it in.

    Try not to giggle the first time you hammer down for holeshot, I dare ya haha

    You are going to be happy, read up on break-in procedures on here. After the initial 1-2 hours they like to be ran HARD to get the rings seated! Keep an eye on oil level but dont fret if its rising a bit for the first few hours, and use that as your judge if you got the rings seated yet or not, once they are the oil level will stay put.

    Hour and 5 minutes in before the darkness set in tonight. 49* and raining but I was hell bent on getting the break in started. Man this thing is smooth and quiet compared to a rattling, noisy, smoking, Merc! :)

    Just messing around. I will not be the guy on here talking about setting any speeds records. Just a fisherman who was looking for a change.
