Looking at switching over to humminbird. Do you guys run the heading sensor with the helixes? I know on lowrance units the screen spins and can be hard to get on exact location. Any input would be appreciated!

Yes, but it's different than the point 1 with Lowrance. You can not use 1 antenna and share just the heading sensor part with the bow unit, if that's what your used to. If you only have one heading sensor you can share it between bow and console, but you also have to share the gps info with both units. Some use a heading sensor for each unit, some use a regular gps puck for console and use a heading/gps puck for the bow.
