    Z18 prop size?

I am running a 24p fury on my z18 175 with no jack plate. Wondering if anyone with the same setup is running a 25p? Seems like it would handle it on takeoff but not sure.

You might turn a 25 tempest, but a 25 fury would probably be too much

I'm running a 24p Fury4 on mine with that motor. Hole shot is great and I can turn it to 5950 rpm. I was thinking about trying a 25p tempest.

Depends on rpms. I agree you could turn a 25 tempest with simliar rpms.

I am running a 25 tempest on my Z18 with a 175 Pro. No complaints. Plenty fast for me- though I am likely less concerned with my whole shot and mph than most folks. Just know it gets up and moves plenty fast for me. I have hit brief periods of 65mph (gps) with no problems. Could I get more- likely, but haven't tried.
