    Compressed carpet

I just moved my power pole buttons and would like to get rid of the imprints. I tried brushing and vacuuming to no avail. Is the something I can do or just live with it. The boat is 9 months old.

I've heard that pet brushes work well. I haven't done it though.

I've used a small pet carpet cleaner and the stiff brush it comes with regularly. Works well.

Wire brush. Friend of mine showed me years ago and it will stand up the fibers and make old carpet look almost new again.

Put a wet cloth over it and then heat with an iron. Brush it and you will be surprised at the results. This will not work well if you have a soft pad under the carpet.

Padded deck. So I may not try this one. I have used a wire brush and warm water. I'll try soaking it for a while then brushing.

Wrinkle release spray or fabric softener or ice cube left to melt.
